For nearly 100 years, Blessed Sacrament Academy has evolved alongside the needs of the South Side community. What began in 1926 as an all-girls school founded by the Sisters who brought their convent to San Antonio has grown into a nonprofit dedicated to meeting families where they are and providing support where it is needed most.
As the needs of our community changed, so did our mission. From expanding early childhood education through our Child Development Center, to creating opportunities through our Second Chance High School, BSA has remained committed to serving children, youth, and families with compassion, dignity, and hope.
Today, the impact of that mission can be seen in the lives we continue to reach every single year. These numbers represent more than statistics. They represent children fed, students supported, families strengthened, and futures made possible.
