Good News for Blessed Sacrament Academy!

Good News!

Blessed Sacrament Academy has been able to secure the grants and donations needed to build a kitchen/cafeteria for our Por Vida Academy High School students as well as a meeting place as needed for the larger campus activities.

We are grateful to NuStar, Valero, BSA Alumni, Koch Foundation, H-E-B and USAA  for generous contributions to this project. What a great blessing they are to our children. We are accepting donations for equipment and furniture.

Construction will begin in August of 2011 – that’s next month – in the grassy area across the parking lot in front of the gym. (See map)

It is an exciting time for us. It will also bring inconvenience to our daily patterns. Please be aware, that in this new development, the safety of our children is our highest consideration.

Our children will experience a building going up – by looking through their classroom windows. It will be a fieldtrip of many months! There will be noise. There will be a fence. There will be potential learning. When it is finished, there will be space for all of our high school students to eat inside a building rather than outside in the weather.

Thank you. God bless us all abundantly.
